Our feature supplier this month is Geekdom Knits. Vanessa is such a talented knitter and a good friend of mine. I'm so excited to be featuring her as a vendor again this month. If you are interested in reading part one of our interview please check it out here.

I once again sat down with Vanessa to see what she is up to, I hope you enjoy learning more about her.
Vanessa, for those of you who are new could you remind everyone what you do for work and how you got involved with Thea-Bel?
I now work as a Copy Centre Associate at Rileys. I heard about Thea-Bel from Sarah while I was unemployed. It was a discussion at a coffee shop that got the ball rolling. I've been with the site since 2016. [If you have checked out the About Us section, the friend I mention is actually Vanessa].
What are you working on right now?
I keep meaning to start a shawl but I have yet to cast on any stitches. One problem with knitting is that you come across so many awesome patterns that it's easy to get distracted from your current project. [you sound like me, there are so many great projects out there it is hard to figure out which one to do first].
What is your favorite part about doing what you do?
When do you create your items, is there a specific time of the day you work on them?
Was anyone influential in you ending up creating what you do?My sister got me into knitting so I guess without her I wouldn't be on Thea-Bel. She also pushes me to try new things, like knitting socks or sweaters, so it gets me out of my comfort zone and that's when I learn how to do new techniques.
What is a favorite item of yours on Thea-Bel that you did not make?
I love all of the crocheted animals on the website. They just look so much cuter as crocheted creations as opposed to knit ones. Plus it's motivation to learn how to crochet.
Any Big Plans for New Items?
I want to get a jump start on Christmas this year. The mini Ron and Harry sweater ornaments I made last year were so much fun. I have so many ideas for geeky themed sweaters. I also want to knit socks. I managed to knit a pair for myself but it'd be fun to make them for other people.
Is there Anything Else You Want People To Know?
Knitting isn't just for the winter. There are so many patterns for airy or sleeveless tops that can be knit out of cotton.
