One of the things I like to do at the start of every year is go through the blog posts that I wrote over the course of last year and pull together my favorites.  This is a fun post for me as I get to go back and live some of the joys from the past year as well as some of the struggles.

If you like this kind of list, be sure to check out my post with my top picks for 2016.

Here is the list, narrowed down from around 50 posts to the top ten.  I hope that you enjoy them.  I've posted them in chronological order.

All About Shipping - Published March 28, 2017

I love behind the scene glimpses into how my talented vendors create their items.  In this step by step guide (lots of pictures in the blog) we see Lane turn an old chair into a stunning urn using a wood lathe.  This one gave me a whole new appreciation for the type of work Lane does!

What a Collaboration Looks Like: Planning My Daughters Birthday - Published August 29, 2017

Most of our vendors love to do custom work and one of the really neat things about Thea-Bel is that we can have multiple vendors working on multiple custom pieces for ONE EVENT.  This saves you time and energy as we provide one point of contact and can provide everything from invites to party favors.  We had discussed this in theory in past articles but had never put it to the test... until now.  I used my daughters second birthday as an excuse to do a really awesome beach themed event with items from multiple vendors making an appearance throughout the day.

Holiday Stress Buster Tips: Guest Blog - Published October 10, 2017

One of things I love most about owning my own company is meeting other entrepreneurs and working with them.  In this guest blog, Elizabeth shares her tips for having a fun and fulfilling holiday.

Online Markets: Earn Rewards While Shopping From the Comfort of Your Home - Published October 24, 2017

One of the other really neat things that we worked on this year was launching online markets.  We will set up an online event where we tell you about the company and show off a lot of amazing products to you and your friends and in return you get a bunch of perks.  These markets are a lot of fun and we have really enjoyed spending more time with our customers.

Supplier Interviews - Published November 21, 2017

My suppliers are really amazing people.  Every month I spend some time focusing on one of them so that everyone gets the opportunity to learn more about them. This includes doing an interview with them.  In this post I put all the interviews I have done into one spot so that they are easier to find.  Make sure you bookmark this page as I will update it as I do more interviews.
