I am a huge fan of decorating my table during sit down dinners. Not only does it make the evening an "experience" rather than just a meal but it also distracts from the food. I am a very experimental cook so love to try new recipes, often on the day I am entertaining. Not all of these experiments go well... I figure everything tastes better on china so on those days disaster strikes, hopefully the candle light and fancy place settings will keep the guests from noticing the burnt taste....
