Every person is unique so why would you want to go with a run of the mill urn for your final resting place? You deserve more for yourself or loved one! Let us work with you to craft the perfect urn. Using a wood lathe, Lane can work his magic to create a one of kind piece that you are sure to love. Lane has made multiple urns, starting with his mothers and has a real talent for bringing out the beauty of the wood he uses. Throughout this painless process we will ask lots of questions to make sure the end result is exactly what you were looking for.
We want your loved ones final resting place to be special, if there is wood from an old homestead, barn, favourite piece of furniture, tree or some other source that holds special meaning, we would be happy to discuss the possibility of using it to create your urn. Get in touch with us right away if this is the case so that we can confirm that what you have will work. If you would like to see how this process works check out this blog post. Please note that if we go this route it would be your responsibility to get the materials to Donelda, Alberta.
Please note that the starting prices on urns is $300. This is for a basic urn. Should you wish to add finishes (knobs, engraving, etc) the price will be more than this. It is our goal to be completely transparent with all costs. We will work one on one with you, ask lots of questions and provide pricing as we go. We just know that you will be happy with the end result.
Shipping charges will be extra.
This is a made to order item, we will be in touch once your order is placed to discuss details. We want your item to be perfect so please order as early as you can, we don't want to rush the process. We will have some questions for you and will be in touch throughout the project with updates.
As this is a made to order item, it will ship direct from our supplier. If you ordered additional items from Thea-Bel, this could result in multiple shipments and shipping charges (we will be in touch to discuss right away should this be the case).
You can select to pay for the entire order or a deposit (remaining balance would be required to be paid before the item(s) would ship). If you pay the full price the final balance (for any extra's and shipping costs) would need to be paid prior to shipping.
If you have additional custom requests, there may be an additional charges for them (we will let you know).
Made by Lane's Custom Wood Works.
Lane is an all around handyman that started working his magic with wood when he was in highschool and has been busy making items since. After a request from his sisters to make an urn for their mother a few years ago, he set off on a mission to create urns and other wood lathe items for others. Learn more about Lane by visiting his web-page
Lane collects most of the wood he uses for his beautiful creations from trees that have reached the end of their life-cycle. The trick is to find the wood before it starts to decay and is void of bugs and cracks so that you have a beautiful piece of wood to work with. The wood is dried (which can take years) and then turned into stunning items like this one. Lane never cuts down live trees, unless it will be cut down anyway.
