It is time to get creative with these fun DIY fabric postcard kits. Great to have on hand to keep your kids busy while inspiring creativity. The best part is that when they are done with their creation, you can use it as a postcard. Simply write a message, add a stamp and watch it make someone's day.
Have some fun and encourage your child to use fabric scraps from your own house, paper, markers, glitter or other craft supplies that you may have to make these postcards truly one of a kind.
Multiple patterns to choose from so make sure you select the one you want from the drop down list.
Each package contains:
- Fabric pieces that make up a theme
- Poster board to use as a postcard
Glue and scissors are not provided.
Each card is 4 ¼ “ X 5 ½ ‘
It is recommended that you cover the postcards with packing tape before mailing them so that none of the fabric comes off during shipping.
Below are some sample postcards that Peggy made up to show you how they could look. The first uses a Mickey character with background cut from different materials in the bag plus pencil crayons used to create the sky. The one below it is an undersea world all in fabric. The one large fish is a corner cut from a placemat. The next three all use material to create a setting with different pieces of material plus one Mickey character cut out. Have fun and get creative!
The below postcards are examples of ones done up by kids. Glitter glue was added. The cat was done by 5 year old Thea (without assistance) and the other was done by 21 month old Skyla (with help from mom).
These are great for rainy or snowy days.

One of the beautiful thing about Thea-Bel is that we have a lot of variety of really unique items. The downside to that is that it means we often have limited quantities of each of the items (often one or two). If you see something you like please make a purchase quickly as our stock does turn over fairly quick. If you see something that you like but it doesn't have enough stock, has sold or you can no longer find it on the website, please contact us and we can always see what we can do about getting more made for you.
